Adobe has definitely worked on it's tool for creating HDR images in Photoshop, and it definitely shows! What the HDR tool in Photoshop does is that it allows you to combine multiple shots with different exposures. With HDR, you can see even more tones than the human eye can!
So what has Adobe done with this tool?
"We improved the algorithm to reduce halos and added an Edge Smoothness check box to suppress the sharpness of the edge to allow higher boost of the texture or detail of the image," said Jeffrey Tranberry, chief customer advocate for Adobe's Digital Imaging group
