PlayStation 4 Might Restrict Used Games?

The new Playstation will play games in 4096-by-2160 and show 3D games in 1080p, but according to Kotaku gamers might not be able to play second-hand games. Supposedly, games might be only be playable through brand-new disks or online downloads from PSN. The games would also need online activation.

If Kotaku's report is accurate, this is one of the newest examples of how companies are trying to restrict what we can and cannot do with their technology. If this is going to be implemented in the new console, let's hope a jailbreak for the new system will come soon after the release. After all, when a console evolves the hackers evolve with it!
